Does anyone know the terms of his bail, if any?

He could be on tag, or he could have certain conditions. Such as curfew, signing in at Police Stn etc.

Just because he has been bailed, does not mean he is available to play. He may have to stay at home between 6pm-6am etc...

Interesting reaction to this:

In the same time period yesterday Glenn Speller had tweeted that Ryan Hall had been jailed, but nothing so far today.

In the same time period yesterday the BBC web site had a story up, and it was one of their ticker headlines, but nothing so far today...

Indeed, which is why I'm not so sure of his definite availability for tomorrow... Home games should be fine, but away games may prove tricky.

Just had it confirmed to me.

He is being released from the slammer today.

Ryan is 100% available for selection between now and the appeal next Thursday.

It is a conditional bail, but it does not look like getting in the way of him playing.

If this was to me, I deleted my post before I receive more information for you rather than just saying 'he is definitely available'. The Ketchup, is not just me saying 'he is available'. It is 100% reliable and unless circumstances change which they wont he will be playing Saturday and Tuesday if he is selected.

Southend United midfielder Ryan Hall has this morning been granted bail pending an appeal at Basildon Crown Court.

Hall was imprisoned on Thursday at Southend Magistrate Court for 20 weeks following a conviction for affray and spent last night at Chelmsford prison after the Magistrate Court refused bail.

However, in closed chambers this morning Judge Christopher Mitchell granted bail to Hall's solicitors and Blues Chairman Ron Martin.

Mr Martin subsequently travelled to Chelmsford Prison to greet Ryan on his release, with arrangements made to transport Hall to the teams hotel in Morecambe ahead of Saturday's npower League Two match and meet up with his Southend United team-mates.

Hall will reappear at Basildon Crown Court on Thursday, 10 March for an appeal against the severity of the sentence handed down.

I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue.

Things like curfews are usually worked out around someone's employment.

Sounds like Ryan will be getting a ride up to Morecambe with Ron.:scared:
Good news, lets hope he can play some part tomorrow.

Good stuff, my doubts were mainly related to overnight stays which I thought may infringe on the conditions of his bail. Appears not though, which is great news for us.

I would just like to add and show some support for RM in this matter. He is clearly sticking by Hall and rightly so, has attended court himself this morning, thus showing his support and im guessing going someway to ensuring Ryans release today and already organised travel for Ryan so that he can get to the hotel and meet up with the squad, probably the best place for him at the moment. RM for once should be congratulated. UTB

RON LOVER ALERT!! Only joking, but I can almost guarantee you that someone will say that and mean it.

Agree with that.
Ron isn't just an evil cretinous fool, he does have a good side to him and he does want what is best for the players and the club, he just hasn't got ANY money to sort it out!

Also I fully expected for him to be sacked, but I'm very glad to see the club are sticking by him.

I think Hall needs to do himself a favour and sleep the whole journey to Morecambe. I doubt he got any sleep last night, and if he's being driven up by Ron, sleeping is better than the alternative!

I fear for the banter that he will receive! Updates from Granty's, Harry Crawford's, Blair Sturrock's and Mark Phillips' twitter feed to follow..

And the alternative is talking hair products. All credit to Ron on this one he gets a thumbs up for once. Cant help wondering about the bail money though did Ron tell the court about the warchest
