Ticket News York City (home) - Saturday 10th August 3pm - tickets on sale now

Looked this morning and there was plenty. Stupidly left it until the pm before purchasing on line, virtually sold out. Managed to grab a couple in the west. Phew.
Yep only a few seats left together in West Stand Block S. Apart from that if you want seats together it's mainly back row of the South Upper.

Only about 300 normal seats left.

Thought there may have been some kind of planned celebratory shennanigans, new era and all that, banners, flags, streamers, party hats.....

So everywhere else nearly sold out but 1,000 tickets left in the South Lower and West family areas. Can we not take 500 of these off sale and open the X block so people without kids can still buy a ticket if they want to?

Or is the issue with the X block more than just the overall capacity limit?

I think the club would love to open X block, in fact all of the North end corner, but it needs work before it gets a safety certificate.

347 sold to York so far. Just 55 left for them. Reckon they’ll sell out too.

So we’re at 6118 so far without hospitality. Great start to the season.

Theres over 700 tickets available in the South lower, about the only place left in the ground you can get a pair of seats together.

Problem is you need a child in tow to be able to purchase one. Am I missing something? Crazy, that we will miss out on probably £10k of revenue because our Family section is so unnecessarily massive.

Whatever the weather, with us selling so many tickets for the first game of the season IMHO is fantastic , I supported Southend United for 50 years and personally believe the club in a better place and better supported today compared to the 1970s , we only got big support if we started winning a few games in the 70's

Compare to today the club has grown and became a family club a band of brothers IMHO

Spot on, it was there before Cosu took over and will just continue to grow for years to come
