Crowther was woeful...and as much as I like Bridge he has been abysmal this season. We are looking like a team that will finish 18th!

We very much need a refresh. In hindsight offering all those new contracts to reward the players was noble but ill advised. There again had we allowed a number to leave the embargo would have meant replacements of a lesser calibre than we want.

If you want an objective measure of how good the squad is then I would look to the fact that as far as I am aware we didn’t get one offer from an EFL club? You can change the midfield around as much as you want or not at all- it won’t change much if anything as they are all at the same level.

If you want attractive football I doubt Neil Harris would be high up your list. But any decent manager is going to look at the best supported, and arguably biggest, club in the league and anticipate a budget to match…
 
Have to agree with this. Wind has played 3 games and been MOM in 2 of them and gets dropped. Miley was awful but Kev hooks Morton. Bridge has been ineffective for weeks but lasts the 90. We lack energy in midfield and creativity all over the pitch.

Since Harry left we have been unable to clear corners at the near post, result the ball goes to the back post where we never have anyone and the opposition score.

I have always defended KM and said that he deserves a Summer transfer window to build a team, without one hand behind his back but I do feel we are at a crisis point now.

I do wonder if the players are out in York tonight for their Xmas party because their heads were not on this game today.

York are a good side but they are not world beaters but at times we made them look like they are.

I don’t think it’s effort. It’s ability- which is tough to put right. There is no pace in midfield, or indeed at wing back, so doing anything quickly, driving forward , box to box, breaking beyond the forwards to beat the offside trap, does not fit the players we have. And if we get turned over committing forward we lack the pace to recover. A Lenny we don’t have in any way shape or form.

Those truly ITK have talked repeatedly about the quality of players we missed out on in the summer whilst under embargo.

All about opinions but I come on here for sensible debate - this type of post is not what SZ is about and this is what turns posters away. I get that emotions are running high - you state that you can only say one thing and it's just 3 words, so please just stick with that. You may have avoided the SZ swear filter but not in my world, show some respect.
