KAF has looked promising to me
Ah of course. I was thinking of Taylor Forson instead.

We wouldnt have to wait until January for anyone in the NLS , unless of course , the other team is hanging on for an offer from a League club.Pretty frustrating watching other teams who aren’t up to much in this league strengthen whilst we sit with what we have (for now)
Dennis to Dale
LuaLua to Hartlepool
Chrichlow to Daggers
I’m sure there’s others to name, those few sprung out as they are EFL quality players and the first two have the one commodity we lack (Pace).
Happy to be patient and see what COSU and JS have in place for Jan as has been muted in this thread but can’t help but think we’re missing out whilst others continue to strengthen.
One for me I’d like to see come in is Danny Cashman from Worthing. Ripping up the NLS, has league experience and is a good age with resale value if he were to catch fire. Oh and he’s a profile of player we lack in the squad, I won’t use the P word again…
Lua Lua turns 34 in three weeks. I haven't seen him play for years, but what are the chances he still has pace? If we signed him, there would surely be uproar.Pretty frustrating watching other teams who aren’t up to much in this league strengthen whilst we sit with what we have (for now)

Which is absolutely fine. But then expect the commensurate returns on the pitch. And also that it might not be a financial “win” at all if gates start falling to reflect mid table mediocrity. We wouldnt have to wait until January for anyone in the NLS , unless of course , the other team is hanging on for an offer from a League club.
Realistically , how many more would one new player add to the gate ? In the eyes of sustainability , can you see the fiscal benefits of spending a fair sum of money , say 50K (plus agents fees etc) ,on a player when a similar amount could be better spent on something which will give better financial returns for the spend .
I dont expect Cosu to be funnelling anything significant towards the playing side of things for some while yet .
Trouble is will our fans? Coming from part-time football and, if we get and polish the right rough diamonds, the real benefit would be felt next year…Id settle for 4 more all from the lower leagues like Altrincham's lively young lads
I think it's more the fact we're being told to wait for January but other teams are seemingly able and willing to get players in now. They're making changes and bringing in options whilst we stand still.A lot of people seem really frustrated with January and unable to understand why some signings would need to wait until then.
Let us not forget that Cardwell, Powell and Husin were all signed in January - towards the end of January, at that - despite there being no transfer window for either us or the selling clubs. They were top targets for Maher, and I believe work had been started on signing them in the October/November.
It should be interesting what changes are made if any at all, and the response .While that is welcome news, unless we can stop this slump in the next 6 weeks, the season will well and truly be written off by then.
Tbf I've pretty much lost interest already. I'm dreading Saturday and seeing miley and Husin rewarded for nothing, whilst Coker and morton sit on the bench watching us employ a 3-5-2 that is as dull as dishwater and yeilds nothing
He is a left back though. Doesn't resolve the middle of the three CB's problem.
One issue with signing players below, is many of them are part-time, so takes a while for them to get up to speed, whereas we need players coming in who could pretty much start immediately.A lot of people seem really frustrated with January and unable to understand why some signings would need to wait until then.

Revisit in the summer.I know his name has been mentioned as a possible target, well looks like we can car park that one!
