Transfer News and Gossip Wa Hoo a genuine transfer RUMOUR

Transfer news
21 players signed in October alone, just saying
Clinging 0n though with my patience as I watch other sides continue to strengthen
20 signed up plus 4 loan extensions, so far in November so that's 41 " difficult" to sign players added to squads so far. Still, only 2 more for us to wait apparently, so be patient !
Are they strengthening though? If they are EFL players then they were not wanted and/or they are overpaying to get them outside a window when an EFL team can't replace them. If they are non-league are they good enough?

The better players, even the back ups and youngsters tend to become available during transfer windows as clubs can readily replace them

We have no idea what the management team are looking for and just signing players for the sake of signing players because we want them to sign players isn't exactly a sound strategy

I get that point and a very far fair one about quality

I very much doubt that all 41 players signed in the past 7 weeks have not strengthened a side, even if they were say the second smallest squad in the league but needed more energy or bench cover?

Certainly the myth has been busted thats its impossible to sign anyone during this period up to up to January, so lets not have any, more of that nonsense

I accept their may be some better options then but I dont believe for one minute that clubs have been snapping up a load of naff players

I agree, I wouldn't say none at all have strengthened their respective teams and I'm not even saying there are not still good players out there we could potentially sign before January just that the pool of players that are both; worthwhile signings and at teams that would be willing to let them go is much smaller outside the designated windows and then that is narrowed further by whether they are players in positions our management team would even want or feel we need.

And from a York fan:

"Looks like we have agreed a transfer fee for Malachi Fagan-Walcott from Cardiff City.
Ridiculous signing if true, he is miles to good for this division, we have hardly let a goal in since joining on loan."

Deals are out there and EFL clubs will let players go.

Wonder if John Still has got himself over to Amersham Town yet to check out their talisman, 21 year old Jake Tabor who has 33 goals and 8 assists in 27 games in all comps this year.

Amersham play at Step 5 which is equivalent of the Essex Senior League. Last season he fired Amersham to promotion with 76 goals and 25 assists in 44 games.

The season before that he scored 35 goals in 24 goals for Rayners Lane (unsure what division)

At just 21 I’m sure John Still has been alerted about him. Last November, Tabor spent time on trial at Wycombe.

Wycombe have got a keen eye on non league after signing Richard Kone from under our noses from the Essex Senior League.

It was a game tonight at Aveley ( i cant remember who they were playing ), and John Still was scouting there
No player was mentioned (i don't think) only speculation/educated guesses as to who it might be he was looking at
Josh Anifowose is the name mentioned earlier. Good young talent, decent record this season and fits more with our signing type (Bonne and Moncur apart)

I watched The Col U - Swindon game tonight.

Swindon are God awful, must have been for Col U to score four.

Anyway, whilst we are a little disappointed with Macca, but accept he is improving, Tshimanga looked totally out of touch up front for Swindon.

Not surprised with their lack of build up play. But just a little nudge that make the wrong move to a club whose style doesn't suit and if everything was based on stats, you wouldn't touch Tshimanga.

I wouldn't mind betting he will be back down at this level possibly this season. Put him in a team who build up through the park and play the channels and he'll score again.

If he went back to Peterboro, I wonder if we'd still be interested?
