When Paul Mullin went to Wrexham (for reportedly £5k per week), he was 26 and had just won promotion and the golden boot in the league above. I’d have been concerned about us financially committing to that signing, nevermind McCallum who isn’t anywhere near that level

Dale Vince seems to have more money than sense though Just glad Martin isn’t around any longer as he had neither money nor sense, so would have probably signed him.

If that’s the case I’m glad we steered well clear. Running the club properly has got to be the priority. Whilst signing PMc would be a huge statement, the whole package is a huge outlay for a club at our level, for a player with no re-sale value. It makes very little sense and as has been mentioned, one serious injury to him early on in the season and you’re ****ed.
