At a much higher level mind. McNally was a great defender.Paul Byrne and Mark McNally as well.
Hang on, they played in relegation sides as well.
Bigger than me sweetheartHeās only 6-1 isnāt he ? Thatās not overly tall

In his prime, Byrne was one of my all-time favourite Southend players.Paul Byrne and Mark McNally as well.

They were all relegated other than loanee Pepper though, which was my point (I suppose technically McNally left in March and we werenāt relegated until April).Other Scottish signings were Nigel Pepper (Aberdeen), Stevie Hammell (Motherwell), Mark Oxley (Hibs), Mark McNally and Paul Byrne (both Celtic).
They aren't all duffers.
Indeed - great player. There was some talent in that custard splat Championship side, as well as too much booze and a poor manager. In his prime, Byrne was one of my all-time favourite Southend players.
It was pretty much the same squad that had us sitting 6th in December the season before, minus Chris Powell and Dave Regis.Indeed - great player. There was some talent in that custard splat Championship side, as well as too much booze and a poor manager.
Iād be surprised if he didnāt sound āfed upā (which probably sounds very similar to displeased, unhappy, angry, disappointed etc).Listening to kevs post match interview he sounds like he is getting fed up
He's always been like that. That's the way he is. He's was one of the most determined as a player, and is the same as a manager. He very much takes defeats to heart. Especially when it's a late goal etc. Then he does what he always does. They will look at that game, and point out the mistakes made to the players, then put it to bed, and concentrate on the next game.Listening to kevs post match interview he sounds like he is getting fed up
You can probably imagine this is the toughest period of football we have faced, so I guess it would be very tough for him.Listening to kevs post match interview he sounds like he is getting fed up
Needs must, for the time being. If the rumours are true, weāve abandoned our āletās get hungry and youngā for āold and probably past itā recruitment policy. Almost like Brown was still about
Needs must, is how you inadvertently get yourself stuck with that problem once again.Needs must, for the time being.
