Think the last aged striker we got was the goat, came from Man City i do believe .Think he was loved and still is by almost everyone. Yes sounds like a PB signing but im happy for it to happen if true . He may be just the man we need up front also im sure can teach Pebble a lot Should be fit enough to do a solid 60 minutes to begin with ,then bring on Pebble as replacement .
He had just completed his last season at Reading, not being an automatic starter and was on the verge of retiring. If you read his autobiography, Feed The Goat, there is a note dedicated to Tilly and Brush in the Acknowledgements, thanking them for persuading him to play one more season with us. And in the section on his time with us, his first observation, why is a player as good as Kevin Maher not playing at a much higher level.

Could Effiong have as big an influence on this squad if he came. With his experience at this level and if he had ambition enough, I think he could.

So someone on the Blues on tour WA group has just posted keep your eyes peeled today for a huge/exciting signing. defo a striker and not Effiong. medical has been completed
not bloody Michael Ricketts again

at least Maccy Ds at the airport will be lovin it

I wonder if we've ever looked at Tomi Adiloye. Harry Taylor follows him on twitter, he was released by Swindon at the end of last season, had a good few last seasons in Scotland but is local.

Patience may be about to pay off…Bonne has waited, we have waited, he has no club still, we haven’t the striker we need still, perhaps he and we have as a result realised there is a compromise to suit both parties? This have been rumoured for some time…

That's him in trouble with Kev again, stand by for a Chris Phillips comment about him, if this is true, lol.

(I hope it is true btw, it would show we are re-investing funds form recent transfers into the team, and that is a definite change of direction over recent years imho).

Last time LS posted and CP made his comment the deal was already done. Suspect Kev was just making a point through CP as in that case it alerted no one as it was after the event.

Hopefully same ago although is there really a club out their that wouldn’t no Bonne is a free agent?
