Seriously though, the flack that COSU were getting and we could end up with Moncur and Bonne at national league level! That's certainly backing their manager.

Add Effiong and that is certainly some serious fire power. When fit, we'd have Bonne, Effiong, Walker and Waldron. With Pepple too. Those first 3 will cause mayhem at this level. Hugely exciting. If only fans reminded fellow fans to be patient.

Last I heard, no bid had been accepted for Effiong. We have reignited our interest, and opened talks, but nothing has been agreed. The poster who initially mentioned this has jumped the gun a touch.

He is on a big wedge, and gets a big appearance fee if he plays over a certain amount of minutes/starts. Hence some sub appearances.

I hope what I’m hearing at Braintree isn’t true, but it’s concerning if it is.

My info was duff. He was starting, but has slipped onto the bench the last game or 2

Be interesting if Kensdale and Cardwell's wages equate to Bonne and Effiong's combined wages.

I guess, like we have with Bonne, we will wait it out with Braintree. Hoping they eventually accept contributing to his wages. We obviously toy with another club coming in and paying his full wage, but that's the chance you take.

Yeah that was me. While I'm not overly fussed about being right etc my sauce could not be any closer to the deal. Let's see how it plays out x x x
