Last year Effiong was 16 in 27 plus 1 sub appearance at Daggers

What I like other than the goals is if fit he always started, and if he started he nearly always played the 90. This tempers significantly the age piece.

If true and given the market would be a solid piece of business I think- we shall see

You say that but ignoring the team names I don't think we have been able to compete with any team with financial backing willing to drop £100k+ on a player for 10-15 years.

Do we have realistic targets. We’re hearing Effiong the latest rumour. Adarkwa & McCallum from Wealdstone & Eastleigh have been mentioned after we lost out on Tshimanga. Doubt McCallum is realistic and Adarkwa is injured. Both would require fees too.

So to the free agents or lower league. Are Bonne or others still in the conversation?

Depends how desperate some of them are to play and earn money. Surely they are going to want to earn something rather than nothing.

At the moment they are getting no wages so a short term deal to January on lower wages to put yourself in the shop window could be appealing to someone.
