Absolutely spot on. Food trucks anyone?
Absolutely- Ebbsfleet were a perfect example. Excellent pop up food offerings, reasonably priced and mobile bars. We easily have room for these- we can also locate outside the West and behind the North for away fans. Closing the in stand outlets e.g. in the East may even help with the H&S bit- maybe increase capacity a little. So much opportunity with even a modicum of entrepreneurable nouse..

How does a Barnet add so many players to their roster with less fans/ticket sales and therefore I'm assuming revenue? Is this a benefactor investing ? A number of these players also just be on reasonable salaries. Simple economics don't seem to stack up so curious of people have thoughts/answers?
They get under 1800 fans a games. We playing Barnet away on Saturday 24th August, don’t be surprised if we get more away fans than home fans.

2 seasons ago on a Tuesday night we easily had double what Barnet had at the Hive. What a great night that was with a fantastic atmosphere. Still occasionally see videos get posted of us singing.

If he is as good as the video, which we know he is, you have to ask 2 questions.

1. Why have Chesterfield let him go?

2. Why hasn't he been snapped up yet?

Allegedly, answer to both lay off the pitch, not on it.

Because they're a very well run club. They also have artificial pitches that they hire out and are in near constant use. They also have conference facilities that are used daily, and hired out for wedding reception etc in the evenings. They can, and do, have 2 weddings running simultaneously.

However, they don't have a roster, they have a squad!

Yep, I believe they charge 20k a pop for the constant stream of weddings they have there. Also do a deal with the gym that is located by the ground.

Yes non matchday income is a big thing now, as you all know we get very small crowds but part of our stadium is leased to other companies who run their offices from there. The facilities are used by all sorts of organisations such as the NHS, the Police for speed awareness courses and when they want to do training for large numbers of officers etc. There are lots of large wedding parties especially Asian ones where people come out of London to hire the entire stadium relatively cheaply to use all it's parking facilities and catering for 300-400 people at a time, we have wedding co ordinators to handle everything for them, flowers, food, entertainment photographs etc. I know a few seasons ago it was said our income from non football related events was well over a million pounds a season. All we need is a decent football team now:Smile:

I guess part of the attraction is a large car park for visitors - which we currently have, but I'm not sure we'll have in the future
