Transfer News and Gossip Transfer Rumours Thread 2024/25 - Time to Cook šŸ‘Øā€šŸ³

Transfer news
Weā€™re also trying to offload Matt Jay by all accounts. Both of these players, for some reason, donā€™t fit in to the Cowleys jigsaw puzzle, but they are both great players and would do somebody a turn. At NL level I think they would be game changers
Surely if they would be game changers in the NL then they would also be towards the bottom of League Two. Does Crowley not see that or are your expectations a little higher this season? šŸ˜œ

In all honesty I'd be surprised if we were looking at slightly past it players who are surplus to requirements at Col U - unless there's a genuine tactical reason they've been left out - such as (maybe) they're too good for a bunch of relegation strugglers. Matt Jay surely wouldn't be cheap.

Edit - just checked and he's only 28. Wow. Thought he was older.

Yeovil have just signed Josh Sims. His contract at Ross County expired. Good experience by the looks, and looks like a non-scoring winger from his stats.

Good. A player that we didn't necessarily need and didn't move the goalposts for. Now lets prioritise utilising our powder on a proper number 10 and or a fast wide man that can get behind our opponents.
It looks like Bridge will play the No10 roll.
You are right. A speedy left wing needed.
