I get really pigged off by these terrible football comments. We are playing the same way as last season, when even you would admit we played rather well at times. Unfortunately we are missing 2 of the players that made it happen, Cardwell and Kensdale. I would say we are probably now at least 4 players short of what the squad needs, but I am sure those that matter are working hard to bring the right players to the Club.
Lower your expectations and you won't be disappointed. All that was promised by Justin at the Cliffs is happening slowly but surely.

Yes we are playing the same way as last season but last season results hid the fact we playing god awful boring stuff. You can look back with rose tints and delusion but we are currently, and have been, in possibly one the most boring eras of SUFC.

Whilst I have no doubt you were chuffed that we signed both of them, not everyone was. Some were more circumspect, some heeded Jonny Stokes’ warning on both players. But I’m sure it was also Maher’s fault both players stunk at their previous clubs and fans were so relieved to see them go.

I was neither chuffed nor annoyed with their signing but if you were not praising then you and I were definitely in the minority. Look back to most of the comments after both joined and you will see that most saw them as quality signings. If they are bad players and stunk then the question should be raised about their recruitment or if they are not bad players then what has made them so bad for us? It all points one way. Oh erm... sorry I can bring it back to Kev and Still can I? That would be so wrong of me!

Am hearing barrel chested French/ Ivorian LWB Rupert Pif of Babworth Rangers has been recalled from a lacklustre loan spell at Penistone Pirates B after 0.5 assists in 12 appearances, 4 as sub, and has has been sold to Cornworthy United for six balti pasties and a portion of potato wedges. Been playing in December and January and if you say leaving is an expectation then a loan for the rest of a season with a view to making it permanent looks like a low risk try before you buy. From the various videos around he looks a talent.

The majority of games under Maher are predictable and boring. There have been a few enjoyable games but they go against the grain. The 'era' can be defined as the Maher Years.

That would be an interesting one as he'd essentially be a Cardwell replacement rather than a Bim replacement.

I know Levi A is very tall but watching his highlight reel, he is more of a Bim than a Harry.

He always protected the ball and then knocked it past a defender. Didn't see him win a header at all. He is another Dackers it seems in the sense of tall but not a specialist headerer player.
