Thwack some money in then, Shivaas. Wad on the table bruh. Not 100% but Shivaas Gulati is in charge and is running it from Seattle
So no idea how hands on he is, all sounds very semi pro to me
If it helps I posted about this earlier in the seasonCan you name 2 teams in the National League that have squads of 30 plus players?
Does that mean because they've been active in the transfer market and have a humongous squad that they are guaranteed promotion?Barnet, forest green to start with.
134 career goals...What has happened to Mcallum at Eastleigh this season. Hardly a mention anywhere. A 1 season wonder?
True. But if Alan shearer was in the middle they may be happy to float easy balls in or around the 6 yard box. As it is they need to be whipped in Trent style and hit someone in the face for it to go in - which is a tougher skill to try. They would be if the stood in the stand or by the opposite corner flag….
Would have been happy with signing NdlovuYes other clubs have made moves for players but realistically how many have signed for other NL clubs that you feel would’ve been good and exciting signings here? I’m guessing not many besides a rumoured £350,000 striker going to York.
There are so many reasons why a signing might not happen. Another club comes in, parent club doesn’t want to sell, parent club needs to replace first, parent club wants to demand a fee, parent club believes they can get more money in the summer, parent club doesn’t want to lose a key player halfway through the season. Then even if the parent club agrees to sell the player might not want to move to us for personal reasons.
I mean, Rory Fallon rejected us because God told him to!
We will make signings and not only that but they will be the right signings for the club, not a signing for signing sake.
That Mr Bellingham was Jude's Grandad??? I never knew that.... Mr Hill, I think, taught me French most years, but I am sure he taught a few lessons for me...That was one of the favourite phrases of Jude Bellingham’s grandad when he taught me French at SHSB!
Correct. Unless it is a doable deal for someone we really want, like Kendall. This may be a controversial view but as I am resigned for mid-table mediocrity this season I would rather us not sign anyone this window (except for a couple of loanees).
January is not the time to bring in mediocre players on inflated transfers. I would rather the club look to bring in new players in June/July, have a great pre-season and be ready to challenge for the 25/26 season.
Certainly was - Jude’s dad is Mark Bellingham (a more than handy non-league footballer himself) who was at the school before moving over to the dark side (WHSB) because of not liking a dad who was a teacher. Mark’s older brother, Steve, was in my year (1979-86)That Mr Bellingham was Jude's Grandad??? I never knew that.... Josh Rees scored at FGR for Daggers on Tuesday night!Any of the SHSB OBs available for transfer or is that for another thread?

Never understood it when people make this joke... as if Jesus would have a penchant for a cross or two. Surely it would be the opposite and, maybe, Bridge is actually Jesus in disguise.Ah we need to sign Jesus.
