We make signings. We signed a striker less than a month ago for money. We brought in a centre half shortly before that on loan.

I think part of the problem is social media has tuned people's brains to think we should be signing a player every seven minutes.

We need players and I am sure we will get them.

Yep, but we have a very small squad and have signed 2 and lost 4 including Crowther. So technically we are now 2 players less than before.

I'm not sure your logic is sound.

We wont be able to name a full subs bench.
 
Our transfer movement cannot be seen as anything other than disappointing.

Stop clinging onto the achievments of staying up with a lacklustre/small squad, we need to look at the picture now.

We were lead to believe, and constantly are lead to believe we have players lined up, that we're constantly looking, which I do not doubt we are, but our performance in the transfer market this season while under new ownership has been very poor.
 
Halifax are a place outside the play offs , win and we go above them. We are well in this play off race and should be attacking this January window and show positive signs. If people are happy with a mediocre season so be it . But in my eyes we are Southend United and whatever the circumstances should be going our best to get out this league. Not settle for a mid table finish
