I must admit i thought Hants had 20 too many for us, but we chased it down with ease .. i'm impressed at the way Chopra is developing now, real mature head on young shoulders and Cook looks like his tinkered with his stance a little with good effect

Not sure. Another great knock by Cook and an exhibition from Foster when he just failed to take 6 sixes in an over to win the match. Great stuff.

Sky quite often repeat stuff, especially in the early hours, so keep an eye out on the schedules for it. If it rains on today's televised game they'll probably show it as well. Alas I no longer have a Sky subscription so can no longer watch:'(

Another good win chasing, considering Essex were 13/3 at one time, good all round display by Tim Phillips with a 5fer and 41 before running himself out. And with 3 first class games remaining there's still an outside chance of promotion.

Great fightback last night, after being on the receiving end at the start of both innings a gutsy effort from Maunders and Phillips cameo saw us home comfortably
