We do know, right, that both Ken and Fitz will be told that a lot of what they get told tonight is of too sensitive a nature to post on the message boards or Trust website?

I think what you say is totally correct.
On the plus side though , both Ken and Fitz seem well respected ( I only say seem as I don't know them personally so did not wish to appear over familiar if that makes sense ? ) , so if they can at least allude to the something positive , I think it would at least make zone / trust members feel a little more at ease.
Let's see what Uncle Ron says ( or doesn't say )......

I'm not the most optimistic person, when I get out of bed in the morning and make a positive statement my wife asks what's wrong with me. Having said that, I just have a hunch that we are on verge of something very big concerning the move to FF. I would , therefore like to ask a positive question although I'm not sure if it is that well formulated. I would like you to ask Ron Martin:-
'When the announcement comes for the start on FF, will any new funds be made available to Southend United
and will this facilitate an improvement with our present cash-flow problems?'
I think I shall now go and lie down.

A bit cautious on the stadium front. People who I've spoken too ( who would be a touch in the know I would have thought) have not said or hinted at anything exciting is on the horizon. Didn't TrueBlue say on here the other day the super pizza people he chatted to are still of the same stance ( digging their heels in ) and that the Club had not been in contact with them for a fair while. Would have thought all shops would have to be in agreement before a positive progress report can be released. I don't think all shops are in agreement. Not yet anyway.

Agreed.
The current amended plans for FF (which have not been passed) and the latest S106 agreement (There has been some changes to this though recently, which are not available on-line yet) are both below.

You will note in the S106 agreement, that there are no less than 12 payments due to the council before or on completion of the development. Totalling a mere £7,689,500.00. I'm not sure if this sum has changed, but I think Ron managed to buy himself some time with the repayments IIRC. But either way, that is a huge sum he needs to find before the stadium can be "operational"

I heard that Ron was in meetings regarding the s106 agreement last week. Im guessing he was hoping to resolve the remaining issues and was therefore hoping to make announcements following that, but before I get jumped on this is just speculation on my part....

Maybe he was but then maybe he wasn't and vise-versa. When I briefly mentioned the FF subject at the weekend to the person I was with the reply was " if it ever happens in my lifetime". As said previously nothing more said and to follow on from you say jam Ron being in a meeting to do with this wasn't mentioned either nor a wait and see what happens this week teaser so-to speak. Personally not ruling anything in or out but till I see the workers on site will I believe it. If that happens whats the bet the building gets delayed half way through, he he.

Because the picture with all the companies is so complex, and to reassure some people who want to know whether he ultimately puts money into the club (not other money such as from Sainsbury's) or receives money from the club, it would be good to know which of his various companies is profitable and what are its assets, and whether he is drawing an income or dividend from it in order to live on?

But they've only got half an hour...

That was what he told me when we had our chance meeting in Pret

I don't think that matters. IIRC the council have agreed to CPOs. If that is the case then SUFC don't have to do anything other than wait. Pizza man will get the market rate for his shop, which in today's economic climate is probably less than he was originally offered. The longer SUFC leave it the better.

not quite the same, a while back I posted up the time line for CPO's , the process takes more than a couple of months

When will the season ticket printing machine be working again, every home game this season I've had to keep wasting my time running between collection points and the ticket office, only to be told the same thing "It will be with you at some point during this week", I know things are bad and we are super skint.. but come on Ron surely this issue needs resolving.

In which case they should not be told it. They are only supporters like the rest of us and should not be given privileged information. Things are known by association but for club officials to pick and choose who they impart info to, and yes TB I include you, is divisive and irresponsible.

I could not disagree more. Fitz is not 'only a supporter ' like us, and I would argue that John is in the same position. As such if they post on here , on on the Trust website a summary that includes that there are certain things that they can not divolge then I will accept that . I dpn't know John or Paul, but their respective positions on here and and for the Trust tell me that they are Southend through and through, and that is enough for me, and I will 'trust' their judgement if they have to report back in riddles to us. Anyone who can not accept that is in my opinion being very immature, or is incapable of trust

But Sainsburys can start on the store (building situated on the carpark, not the Stadium) without having Pizza Man out of the way. These things could (I'm not saying will) run in parallel.

yep, you are right, assuming that Sainsbury's see it this way which neither of us know, therefore both or our my points are very valid IMO
