If the rumour is true then it could either be Aaron Cosgrave (who was at Dover on loan for part of last season) or David Fisher (who was on loan at Hampton & Richmond Borough last season).

I think there were many on here that presumed we haven't signed anyone yet due to the targets being Championship/Premier League players and their respective clubs waiting for the window to shut. It would be a little strange of we end up with a League 2 youngster on loan.

Can any of the in the know posters confirm this Wimbledon link?

Have no idea if the link is true or not, but I do hope it is. I have watched him live twice, when he was at Dover last season and once for Colchester u18s which was his academy days, he played in same team as a mate of mine.

He is very quick and can dribble with the ball quite effectively. But he isn't really a number 9 type striker, always out wide or 10. Perhaps could be a second striker.

I would prefer him over a Prem youngster though. Aaron has 108 senior appearances across non-league and EFL, lot of experience compared to a fresh faced West Ham 18 year old.
