Well difficult to believe we won't have had him watched and know all about him given he was Braintree and Billericay last season. We may have now got down to him on the whiteboard...or not

He has a beard similar to Wreh's. Is that telling?

About the same height too, not a target man, and his goal ratio is not great

No inside information at all, but someone asked Chris Phillips whether this was anything to do with us, so I'll post it here.

Striker Femi Akinwande has left Tonbridge Angels (National League South) with immediate effect (only signed for them in the summer from Billericay Town). Assume this will be to move to a higher club.

He's local and a good age - mainly played at lower levels but would assume John Still and his army of non-league scouts know all about him. Could be an additional striking option for us, has been playing (and scoring) regularly at a higher level than Chris Wreh.

Whether or not we are involved this all looks very odd

If cp hasn’t made a comment there maybe something in it … he normally responds if there isn’t

Smiffy, that possible Premiership striker Loan which is still hanging around on page one? Could It have been Palace's Rak-Sakyi who has now signed for Charlton? I did mention It on a post to BW2 and the fact that he liked It would seem to indicate he was the striker we lost to a League One side. Of course, I could be getting my knickers in a twist (as usual) and It could be someone completely différent.

Not sure on Rak-Sakyi, but I know there are at least 2 other youngsters from Prem U23's that we have had our eye on recently.

I guess the parent clubs are wanting these players to get a loan move to an EFL team rather than us, hence the hold up. But once the transfer window closes (or interest is limited in them) we may then be in with a shout of picking one of these up first/second week of September. So potentially another couple of weeks of tumbleweed....or will it? 👀
