Am I the only one concerned that we keep talking strikers and yet the defence and central midfield look light

The defence is really worrying to me. It was very poor once Lopata left. I'm hoping Lomas is brilliant or I can see us being punished at the back.

As much as I like Kensdale, I don’t think he is the sort of defender who will go out and win all his headers against a strong number 9 type player. To me Kensdale reads the game really well and would be perfect in a back 4 central partnership where his partner was the dominant CB. Hopefully be proved wrong but agree we are missing someone like Lopata

Could be a short term answer while the two clubs are still wrangling over a suitable deal. We get Hyde to play for us and he can stay on his current salary.

Another player - just as with Dalby - that didn’t get the recognition he deserved at the time.

Imagine Humphrys' physicality and bravery coupled with Dalby's touch, teamwork and awareness, what a player that would be.

Does the season long loan allow for us to cancel it then if he gets injured? I thought some loans don't include any break clause, so wonder if that's the case with this one.

No. He's a winger, who can play the "10" role too.
