Are you making a cheeky prediction?Has to be Kelly but I imagine we have major EFL competition for him.
We were, not since Tuesday when we celebrated the lifting with the signing of Fonguck. So are we under an Embargo?
So why do people keep mentioning it? I know some peoples glasses are almost empty and keep banging on about an Embargo, but we have slowly compiled a very decent squad so far and looks like further additions are possible. We were, not since Tuesday when we celebrated the lifting with the signing of Fonguck.
Why? I mean no disrespect to anyone when I say this but on anonymous forums you will get ‘keyboard warriors’, trolls and even simply differences of opinions. If a couple of people doubted what they were being told then it’s to be expected but to then go silent seems a little excessive.Don't be surprised if some other ITK have stopped their info or slowed it down due to other threads.
I think it’s Maidenhead that won’t entertain us not Josh Kelly himselfIS Kelly team he one that is holding out for a six figure sum .Cant see us paying that kind of mone .And someone stated why would he sign for a club who does not honer its players wages .To my knolage all player are payed up to date .
People keep mentioning it because the fact that we were under one has affected the club's recruitment in the last week or so, even if we are now out of it. It had seemed as though the club's reputation in football circles was slowly being improved but other clubs will have heard that we were under one and it may have made them think twice about doing business with us. "Are we going to get our money?". It's not exactly like we don't have a history of missing payments of transfer fee installments or of loan fees. It's yet another indication that certain people will work hard to improve the club's image but it's often one step forwards, two steps back and the club will never fully recover its reputation or get a clean slate until Ron Martin is out of the picture. So why do people keep mentioning it? Because it's still a consistent issue with the club, why else would it not be mentioned? Every few months we seem to be under an embargo so it's always going to be apart of the conversation until we actually start to pay our taxes on time consistently. So why do people keep mentioning it? I know some peoples glasses are almost empty and keep banging on about an Embargo, but we have slowly compiled a very decent squad so far and looks like further additions are possible.
Because people get fed up of it, imagine posting information you know is more than likely true, then people, whether they're trolls or not, it will get annoying constantly being questioned and told you're wrong. Why? I mean no disrespect to anyone when I say this but on anonymous forums you will get ‘keyboard warriors’, trolls and even simply differences of opinions. If a couple of people doubted what they were being told then it’s to be expected but to then go silent seems a little excessive.
I think that was Umerah where the club were holding out for six figures?IS Kelly team he one that is holding out for a six figure sum .Cant see us paying that kind of mone .And someone stated why would he sign for a club who does not honer its players wages .To my knolage all player are payed up to date .
We were never interested in UmerahI think that was Umerah where the club were holding out for six figures?
A few ITKs have confirmed quite a few times there has not been issues paying playing staff, just non-playing.From reading threads on here recently anyone would think we are the only team who ever have an embargo and only team that struggle financially over the summer months.
From what I understand the players have been paid every month for quite some time now and although it is not good enough it is usually a small handful of people who get paid late from time to time.
Players want to play for us as much as anyone disagrees. Mussa clearly wanted to come to us and I believe Josh Kelly also wants to come here especially with one of his relatives commenting and liking a lot of southend fans posts on social media. I doubt this would be going on if there wasn’t a very good chance of him coming here.
So in a nutshell - not paying all staff on time is not great and not acceptable but we are a big club at this level, we play good attractive football, have fantastic support and a bright future regardless of what some people may say.
Indeed. I've mentioned on here how it works, at least in the EFL where clubs continually fail to pay each other, but don't report each other to the EFL until the day before payment hits their accounts. That way everyone is continually in and out of an embargo even if it is only for a day or two at a time, and when the transfer window is closed it makes no difference. From reading threads on here recently anyone would think we are the only team who ever have an embargo and only team that struggle financially over the summer months.

It all ends up back with Ron sadly.People keep mentioning it because the fact that we were under one has affected the club's recruitment in the last week or so, even if we are now out of it. Hi mate, ive followed your comments with interest, much like Boy Wonder and use you as a reliable source. A few on here including Magnum (not digging at him) have said that the kelly deal is off or he is going elsewhere. Are you able to shed any light on this matter? We were never interested in Umerah
Hasnt stopped other joiningIf I were in his shoes I'd pick the club who would pay me on time, and didn't have a crooked owner.
