I fully agree to be fair, while I love the ITKs on here and the information, I hate the slight hints and nudges at things because you'd just prefer to just know or just find out when it's actually announced 😂

I think it was the Omar Mussa saga that did me in 😂

I get what you mean to an extent. However, I don't mind the speculation and uncertainty as long as it's worth it and there is an end product. If we come out of this and we sign someone like Josh Kelly, it will all be worth it. The absolute worst, is when we go through all this speculation and we don't sign anyone.

Fingers crossed the talks are going well and we can get the target through the door as soon as possible so they can integrate quickly. Lomas has already got injured. We need to give any potential signing as long as possible with our coaching setup.

That’s the fun of summer, in between proper footie, as you say. F1, cricket, cold beers and transfer gossip. Love it myself.

So for him having no control through signing an extension, and risking either splinters in his backside, u23 football or joining Neal at Barrow is very unattractive.

Neither player has it wrong.

Barrow training ground is in Manchester 40 mins from Sheffield
 
Kyle Hudlin has now signed on a year long loan at AFC Wimbledon, after landing permanently at Huddersfield Town earlier in the week. Wealdstone have announced 2 today and Torquay have made an addition.

I understand only 1 club has put in a formal offer for Lopata to sign on a permanent basis
 
I think the fact that it has "gone quiet" on strikers is very good news. I am guessing/hoping that:-

a) The striker is good & is therefore in demand & therefore talks might be protracted whilst both parties seek to get a mutually beneficial agreement.*

b) The club has managed to snuff out the leaks & wants to get this deal done without others spilling the beans.



* Equally it could be that Ron is taking his time to unlock the long lost war chest.
