A striker who does nothing but score is what we need.
We have enough attackers who can run or win headers. we need a goalscorer. A right place at the right time, fox in the box striker.
The kind of player that goes unnoticed for half the game but walks off the pitch with 2 goals.

any exist?

I think we are fine for centre backs now. Realistically I doubt the budget is there for another one. Lomas Hobson Taylor Ralph Kensdale can all play there. The missing piece in the squad is a finisher.
We need to stop fitting square pegs in round holes. Taylor is seen by management as a midfielder and Ralph isn't a CB. Yes both could fill in if needed short term, but I feel we need one more natural option there, for competition if nothing else.

Ralph got into the England C squad as a centre-half.

People are trying to pin him as a LWB but isn’t this largely based off him as a LB, which is a different position. I think he’s played more for us as LCB than any other position.

I only read what was in bold and it confused me for a good 5 minutes before I re-read it properly.

I think Ralph will be used as a LWB not a LCB, he was only there for cover and it's quite clear he's capable of playing as an attacking left back.

I think if we were to deploy him as a LCB, we'd be looking at bringing in another LWB to compete with Clifford which we're not.

Kev is definitely looking to have all positions to have at least another player as competition to the main guy there.

Is it?

How many goals and assists does he have?

How many key passes?

With a vague run down, and with the assumption transfermarkt is accurate.

Ralph has played 120 matches as a Left Back, achieving 1 goal and 8 assists

As a left-midfielder(as that is the position TM has noted it down as), he has 57 apparences, accounting for 6 goals and 7 assists.

I can't give key passes count, etc because it's not available to myself, I'll see if ShrimperStats on twitter could work something up for me regarding his positioning and statistics if they exist.

Wonder where Kev sees Ralph. At the moment he is the only left CB option. And in a back three it matters particularly as the LCB/RCB will naturally be pulled wider into the FB areas, If Ralph is not planned to be the go to LCB then we will very much be looking for one. I suspect Ralph will be there..we will see I guess.

Ralph is good enough to plat LCB, LB, LWB equally effectively. I think it will come down to where we most need him come the season..

The fact that we registered interest in having Joe Gubbins back is proof enough for me that they don't see Ralph as a sustainable round peg in a round hole at LCB.

There's always the loan system to plug gaps but we really do need another striker right now to get playing with the lads. Maybe Wreh is the answer.
