Hmmm, a good shout, it could well be...

I got the impression at the start of this thread that the person in question was under contract and a fee would be paid.

Therefore Willock is unlikely.

Iam glad most of you not the manager of Southend

he is one of the worst Brentford player EVER! Tilson has shown he is after a better players like Ricketts, Hammell & Francis etc, he has 150k for Swansea's Robinson rejected, its quality League One player he is after not some 3rd rated doofer you has suggested!

Yeah, ok then.
Whlist I hate Lee Steele for his Orient & Brighton connections it would give me great delight to get him just to see J-S crying into his cornflakes.

Yep spot on Murkey... It has to be someone with a decent record, who has played at this level or can play at this level.

hmmm someone mentioned Kiegan Parker on here earlier. An established league one player, who Tilly was singing his praises when we played Blackpool at their place. Could fit the bill? I would imagine Tilly is looking for a pacey striker to replace Gray, as that's probably the attribute our strike force lacks the most right now.

Sorry, but I guess years of supporting SUFC through thick & mainly thin have worn us down. It's second nature to us to expect a donkey when you hope for a star.

I hope you're right & it is a quality championship standard player, but don't blame me if it's not!!!

Harsh - very, very, very harsh. Willock's a decent player, sure he's not in the same league as Eastwood or Ricketts but put it this way I'd much rather have him as a back-up than Lee Steele, (god forbid) Matt Harrold and even Wayne Gray.

Is he not more of a winger though?
Although possibly Parker might have played in the same U19 Scotland team as Stevie Hammell.

Agree it will be a quality player. If someone is not deemed good enough for a League One team why would we want him? We couldve just kept Wayne Gray if we are goin to go after the likes of Willock or Harrold. Would appear it is a player who will demand a fee, I very much doubt it is anyone from a team just promoted (Orient, Northampton). I reckon Abbott, Parker or Greenacre.
