What on Earth is it with you and Neil Harris? Maybe I'm wrong but you seem to drop his name into threads every couple of months.

He's sh!t, mate.

I'm just listing the Forest Strikers Beefy....

I reckon tho Tilson would get the best out of Harris...

I think the best came out of Neil Harris several years ago. Very good player back in the day but he's not been the same since his terrible illness.

And you mentioned earlier in the thread...

Bristol Rovers are basically hinting that Agogo will leave them this week. Wonder if Tilly has possibly been on a bit of a windup and told the Echo it's a League 1 striker when actually it's not.

Michael Bridges couldn't cut it in the Championship?

Ok.
That made me laugh as well

He has been mentioned on this thread a few times and yet overlooked. I think he would be a great signing, he's no big time charlie anymore (if he ever was) and knows where the net is. Its a big push coming down from Carlisle but . . .

Just had a look at Matt Harrold on the Yeovil OS.
He is so GINGER it's shocking, makes Chris Evans look like an albino..

Apols to you ginga Blues out there..

Ok.
He failed miserably in League One.

No, I dont think he could cut it in the Championship - and I dont think Tilly would touch him with someone else's.
Eh? He's always done ok in the Premiership and is still only 27. I'd be delighted with Bridges but I doubt he'd ever sign for any club south of Brum.

Hmm, so much to digest. I'll put my thoughts in bullet points.

- Harris, Johnson and Owusu, IMO, are not near the players they used to be and I don't think even Tilly and Brush could prevent those careers sliding.
- Akinfenwa, as I have always said, is a player I don't want to see in a Southend shirt. Knight is talented but undoubtedly a sh**. I'd hardly be overly enamoured with Harrold either but then it is very much the extra striker role.
- Holt's a very good shout. Doesn't seem to have had much of a chance at Forest and we know Tilly was sniffing round before. Perhaps offers something that the current two don't necessarily.
- 'Uddersfield: Abbott was disillusioned for most of last season and the difference in performance from at the Hall to the playoff semis was incredible. I'd love to have the player that looked lethal at the Hall. Graham is an excellent poacher who also has a penchant for the spectacular. In his last spell in the Championship, he was mainly used as a winger so I don't think we can judge him on that and he'll be desperate to prove his Championship worth. In terms of expectations and what we need, this one could be good.
- Karl Hawley seems to be one name that may have missed the radar although it's hard to take in over a hundred posts. Won the fans' player of the year and a healthy goalscoring record. Career scoring record of over 1 in 3.
- Steve Fletcher. Well, I think that completes the announcement of every single League one striker!!

I think we've established that Graham is still a Sheffield Wednesday player, ruling him out if this League One tag is accurate.

Signed for Bristol City though didn't he.

Fair enough. Would still happily take him though and still seems like a pretty decent shout were it not for the story. That said, he did play a fair bit last season and did alright so it looks unlikely really.

Probably would like to see Hayes or Hawley most out of the rest as both seem like poachers, something that Freddy and Ricketts maybe aren't.

Someone has posted on that dodgy rumours website that its Trundle. This has been rumoured before but i can't see it happening.
