Absolutely buzzin for Saturday, what a chance to cement a top half place to build from. We can do this ! We simply have to get a result.
Just about to phone the club and get our seats switched to the North bank and be as vocal as we can and support the team, despite those on HERE sneering about the club's efforts on getting the North open again. Shrimpermoan has definetly cut its teeth on here this week.
A tidy 3 points will be massive, going to Boston staring at the playoffs, oh boy...

Can I have some of those drugs you are on? 😁😁

Tomorrow’s Vanarama National League fixture against FC Halifax Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

A local referee conducted an early pitch inspection on Friday morning and has deemed the pitch currently unplayable due to a significant drop in temperature overnight.

With doubt over whether the pitch will improve amid extremely cold temperatures forecast again overnight on Friday into Saturday morning, an early decision has been made in consideration of the long-distance Halifax players, staff and fans have to travel.

A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course. All tickets will remain valid for the re-arranged fixture. Any further information on refunds will be provided once a new date has been set.

This aged well.

Gives us a chance to actually have a full squad to play with I guess. Unlike us to call it off so early. Im sure no-one had a quiet word with the groundsman to advise the referee that there was no chance of the pitch being playable. We wouldn't do that..

Surely benefits us more than them. With illness and injuries we are already short in numbers so hopefully gives them time to recover for Wednesday and also maybe get a couple of new bodies in. temps for Wednesday in Boston well above freezing

Barnet, Oldham, Maidenhead, Fylde and Gateshead have already postponed their home games as well.
The only surprise there is Barnet.

Oldham is the highest ground in the country and oop North. Notorious for freezing and taking an age to thaw out. Very open as well. Fyld and Gateshead also oop North. Maidenheads pitch is poor and always a likely candidate for postponement whether rain or cold.

Generally we are amongst the least likely to postpone so come 3pm tomorrow it will be interesting to see how many games in the SE are played.

Anyhow. My garden is playable so I have a raised bed to put in. So my wife informs me...

Thank God thats off and the club can recuperate and repair a bit.

Although Completely buggers my Saturday with the Mrs away for 6 days

My last resort is the Womens Ashes series starting at 11.30pm tomorrow
