Yesterday the tickets hadn't arrived , but the 2nd program in my Lottery prize (a seasons worth of programs delivered to my house) did !!
Can't believe they get to Canvey safely, but still no sign of mine in Rayleigh!
You are not alone. I called today and was told to phone back if they don't arrive tomorrow (Friday)
was just about to pick up the phone but you've saved me a phone call
Mine haven't arrived in this mornings post. I'll call them and report back
The incompetence of SUFC ticket office never fails to amaze me.....
I cancelled my ST after paying 2 direct debits (for various reasons which I wont bore you with now) was told in an email that I would get my money back when "it was reasonably possible" for the 2 months I had already paid. I had another email confirming all the details and to cancel the DD with my bank etc.
Anyway, still haven't received the money yet but I thought what the hell, give them a bit longer and then I will storm into the ticket office at some pont in the next few weeks and demand it back rather vocally. So I get my post a couple days ago, and what do I find...a letter apologising to me for not having been able to send my ST out yet and that they have enclosed a paper ticket for the game on Saturday! Now don't get me wrong I am not one to complain on having been sent a free ticket, however, it begs the question - what the hell do they do when someone emails them to tell them that they have cancelled their season ticket?! Do they just press delete?! Because they clearly havn't registered it on the system.
The dilema I have now is, do I storm into the ticket shop and demand my £75 back and tell them how stupid they are for even sending me this ticket in the first place despite my cancellation OR wait and see if they send me a ST and then cut my losses over the £75 given that I have a cut price ST???
My concern is that they might send me a ticket, note that I have been using it then demand the money off me or something. What a pickle.

Hi Southend Lady.
I think honesty is always the best policy. When things get complicated like this, talking over the phone or sending emails doesn't always fix the problem, especially if you are dealing with youngsters (No disrespect, but that's my experience), they tend to press the wrong button, or not pass the information on to the next person. Don't forget, they layed off the best and most experienced member of ticket staff.
I think you need to take all your evidence, and go down there in person, and sort it out on the spot.
The last thing you want is for the system to catch up with you one day and demand full payment for something you now don't want.
Mine haven't come Sam, if you get a ticket can I have it please?
You see this is the problem, I am worried that they might send me a ST and then I use it and it catches up with me and they demand the full sum etc. Then I think well hold on, how comes they are always the ones that get to call the shots. It's OK when they want to sit on MY £75 and pay me whenever they feel like it, but then you can imagine them storming after me for the rest of the money for the ST should they catch me if I end up with one!
So many people have been screwed by the incompetence of the ticket office at SUFC, its high time someone got something back from it!!!
