Question Season Ticket Cards

Hmm 4 days to go... anyone got a ticket yet?

The postman has just delivered my ticket for the Stockport game complete with a cover letter saying

"We are working with our printers and your new season card will be sent to you prior to the Port Vale fixture on the 21st August 2010"

Anyone heard anything about the car park? We used to park in Prospects, but have had nothing about renewing at all? Guess it might be as its being knocked down and built on at some stage of the season, but some info from the club would of been nice.

For example, I know you paid £90 a year to park in prospects for the past decade, but we can't be arsed to tell you that we are closing it this year. We really didn't need the cash, or to offer you a place in the main car park, but really we don't give a stuff about the customer, and we don't need the cash, as Sainsbury are bailing out this very poorly run business that wastes tens if not hundreds of thousands of pounds a year on uneccsary admin/legal fees/call centres/sundries. Thankyou, down the blues, backwards and downwards.

£80 refund is for those took up World Cup offer or paid £380 before S/T were reduced to £300.00.....

... or anyone that paid the higher amount after the world cup promo? i.e. not just the ones that entered before the world cup? Amended above to hopefully be acurate?

got an apology letter this morning for the delay in season tickets. Got tickets for saturdays game too with reassurance season cards will be with us asap

Why don't you save some money and park on the side roads around Southend? You'd save £90.00 then, ok its not as close, but its only going to be a 5 minute walk at most

I spoke to the ticket office last Saturday. Said they are nearly there on sorting out Prospects car parking for this season and that all Prospects tickets holders would get a phone call on Monday. Needless to say, they didn't call me on Monday. I can only imagine the club's now flush with cash and doesn't need another £92 from me :).

Interestingly, Prospects was open last night (I flashed my ticket from last year which got me in) and was half empty.

I went to the ticket office on Monday(for the 2nd time)to ask about my Prospects season ticket. Was told that they were unsure if Prospects would be available this season but that I would get a call on Tuesday or today to sort out whether I could park in Prospects, the main car park or Westborough Road car park - guess what, still awaiting that call. I think you are probably right ETBB, now that the club is being bankrolled by Sainsbury's they care even less about the club's supporters than before.
Oh and by the way, I still haven't got my ticket for Saturday's game.
