Question Season Ticket Cards

I went into the ticket office this afternoon to get my ticket for Saturday as it had not arrived, they printed me off a ticket and I also asked about Prospects Car Parking, as we had not heard anything, it is open, but they are only giving tickets for 3 months at a time, this is because Sainsburys maybe doing some work there at the end of the year, and if they are we would be transfered to the main car park.

Hope this is of help.

Same here. I mean we are led to beleive that my ticket along with all the others was sent out on tue/wed. Now im no royal mail or postage expert , but does it really take 3-4 days for a letter to travel from southend to benfleet?

Mine never turned up in today's post either so I'm glad my dad DID go down yesterday and get reprints. Yet my sister with the same surname initial got hers on Canvey ok. No rhyme or reason as to who got theirs and who didn't.

I got someone else to get my season ticket an there away at the moment but regardless of that they still havent turnt up in the post so im going to the office to get really annoyed at some muppets lol

I was one of the optimists who renewed their season ticket last December using the World Cup promo. I didn't receive a paper ticket for Stockport - no problem as I wasn't able to go. I phoned today and was told they received the new season cards yesterday, printing is about to start and I should get mine at the end of the week. Here's hoping - maybe they'll include a few freshly printed tenners for the relegation rebate too. See, I am an optimist.

Mine neither - went and got a 're-print' Friday afternoon.... Expected a long queue of people in the same boat but there was only one other person ahead of me.

In Dec 2009 SUFC took £500, no season cards (perhaps 8 months wasn't long enough to prepare!), no paper tickets (30mins in the queue on the 1st day of the season!) - shocking customer (fan!) experience, if it were anything else my patronage would go elsewhere.

Next season I'm not sure I want to do this all over again, so either miss first game(s) of the new season or go to paper tickets and attend RH on fewer occasions, totally unbelievable that SUFC has never learnt from early season debarcles..................

I am so glad I decided to cancel my ticket. Even if I was able to make it to every home game it would cost in total £336 (if paying before the day). With a ST, once you have missed 3 games, you actually would have been better off buying as you go. In fact 3 games missed and you would be £6 better off to have bought separately.

I don't know about any other STH but something always comes up in the season meaning I have to miss games on the odd occassion so at least this way I won't have to worry about being out of pocket (although I am at the moment until I get my refund but thats another ticket shop story of course). Most people buy theirs out of convenience as it is far easier to just have that card in your wallet and not have to faff around with buying a ticket each game but for this year at least I think I made a good decision.

Still think it is outrageous that I received a paper ticket for Saturday (and of course used it!) as a "cancelled" STH yet others who have already paid for half or even all of their ticket outright didnt didnt receive one! Shambles!

I buy my season ticket for the convenience on top of having preference for cup tickets which, over the last five years or so, has given me the opportunity to see Southend at some of the best grounds in the country and achieve some of the most remarkable feats in our history... So, on balance, I think it has been worth it.

I'd appreciate the return of the club shop discount now that the TeamClub crap is redundant, though...

My Stockport ticket never did turn up - anyone else that was still waiting?
Yep, still waiting. Not holding my breath though.

Why they have to be economical with the truth yet again beats me. I'd rather they just admitted that we all, well 90%, would have to turn up & pick up paper tickets.

Your right it is outrageous . Especially as i went up to get it friday having been told that the ticket office was open till 5.30. Except on a friday and i arrived at 5.05 and doors were locked. What i am annoyed about most is that i have had to make two very long phone calls and petrol to go from benfleet to a shut ticket office. I also have yet to receive the ticket they said they sent me last wednesday!

What a joke and i reckon a free ticket for tonight would be well in order , but ive got more chance of angelina jolie pop round for a cup of tea and a crossword.

Which reminds me that I'm also still waiting for my text ticket for the Wet Hamster game, which I was told at 2.30pm last Tuesday had been definitely sent.

My, that Orange network must be busy or perhaps yet another Porky Pie? I don't see Goeff King taking responsibility for his crap organisation. He is the Chief Executive after all! Yea likely.

Same here. I wouldn't worry, though, I'm still waiting for my text ticket for last season's Stockport game.
