Question Season Ticket Cards

I am so glad I decided to cancel my ticket. Even if I was able to make it to every home game it would cost in total £336 (if paying before the day). With a ST, once you have missed 3 games, you actually would have been better off buying as you go. In fact 3 games missed and you would be £6 better off to have bought separately.

If you factor in promotional tickets (like for birthdays and valentines and all that gubbins) it actually works out cheaper to go to every game and pay in advance.

I got a season card because when it came round to post-christmas (a traditionally cash-strapped time) I found I was scrabbling for the money to go to games, wheras this year I'll have paid in full by November, meaning December onwards are "free". Sort of.

One of the joys of having a season-ticket is that it cuts back on the number of times you have to deal with the ticket office.

Yes, it can be a hassle sorting your season-ticket out, but it's a twenty-third of the hassle of getting individual tickets and having these problems every game.

Are you suggesting Yorkshire Blue that you aren't a great fan nor do you think the people in the ticket office are doing a good job?

. So many fans let down with their season cards or the temporary paper ticket fiasco. It doesn't help matters when the ticket office staff tell fans their tickets have been sent out, but they don't arrive, and then to hang on the phone for ages and ages and be told you will have them before the game. They don't arrive again. So you are now waiting on phone again, and are told to pick them up before the game. So you now have to join the angry queue for about 30 minutes before the game. That's a dreadful service for the life blood to financially and in person, support their team.
It's laughable that some fans still have not received their tickets, days after the game.
Either they wasn't sent out after all, or the royal mail have someone that likes our tickets.

The system's not working Dave.

I have noticed a lot of postmen sitting around me for the last couple of years, wonder where all my mates had gone ;) !!!

I agree the system isn't working aswell as it should. There is always problems, whether it's seetickets or any gigs, it sometimes goes wrong. Not sticking up for the useless *******s though ;)

I am still waiting for my original Stockport paper ticket and it is now Tuesday evening! I had to travel down to get a duplicate, so it has cost me money for something that is not my fault! I also asked twice about my refund was told if I confirmed the card number it would be done. That was over 2 weeks ago guess what still waiting. Bearing in mind I paid for 2 season tickets in December they owe me £160 and also what about interest they have had on my money. As others say it is a shambles no wonder we are nearly bust.

£80 refund is for those took up World Cup offer and paid £380 before S/T were reduced to £300.00.....

Damn, I only paid 300 - still at least the card turned up yesterday. Looking forward to the stories of those who say it didn't work. I never had a problem with mine.
