We tend to play better with 4-3-3, it would be nice to have ricketts but it's not the end of the world if we don't get him, an out and out third striker would be better for us, if ricketts could play there then great but he isn't a vital player, I'd rather see our defence strengthened because right now little seems to be going on there outside of one rb

I urge anyone who have Twitters, to show R.Ricketts the love of him playing for us - he sort of player that is the difference between turning a defeat into a draw & a draw into a win, which can improve our chance of getting out of this league!

I get the feeling if RR performs tomorrow we'll do our very best to sign him, the Echo article suggests PS is keen to have a look maybe for 90 mins tomorrow. PS says he wants 2 strikers, my guess is we'll sign only one IF Ricketts signs (and personally I'm more than happy with that, I still believe one decent striker added to this squad is sufficient in terms of out-and-out forwards).

corr and harris are deffinately quality strikers but we all know corr can pick up knocks and perhaps harris might not be able to play in every game so having back up who will deffinately get games will be a great help. every decent team has good strikers on the bench and although i like crawford and asante are they good enough is still up to be decided. unfortunately although sturrock does a job he's never going to win you the league.

Yeah but we have 5 strikers already, so unless Paterson leaves I can't see us signing another.
