what and its taken over a week to decide that....not buying that as a reason. based on what we know about PS do you really think it would take him that long to decide this?
 
With Blair and Corr both out for start of season, priority must be to get a striker in. We have Hall, JJ and Merrick who can play wide and besides doubt we will play 4-42 much next season.

Or perhaps PS decided this several days ago, but RR's agent was still trying to convince him his client was worthy of a deal?

You have to remember RR was the only one who was publically stating he was hopeful of a deal.

I'm not so sure, I think if we have injuries to either Hall or JJ with the 4-3-3 then Harris will be asked to play in Blair's role last season (ie. left of a 3). My guess though is with 2 excellent strikers for this level we will play 4-4-2 a fair bit next season when they're fit. It's the only formation that would allow us to play Harris, Corr, Hall and JJ.

Haven't seen anything of Merrick James-Lewis but if he can play wide then that's a bonus, thought he was a central player.
