New hattrick season

Now this I do like:

Guillermo Pérez
TSI = 48 930 , 21 years and 20 days, passable form
Has formidable experience and weak leadership abilities

Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: passable Passing: poor
Winger: passable Defending: supernatural
Scoring: disastrous Set pieces: weak

Lovely!! Also had a pop on one of my other wing backs who will now be sold as we look to upgrade the defence again.

Marian Schmidlechner
TSI = 21 260 , 22 years and 86 days, solid form
Has weak experience and passable leadership abilities [Quick]

Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: passable
Winger: brilliant Defending: outstanding
Scoring: poor Set pieces: passable

Ruus was formidable/brilliant and sold for £2.1m so would hope for similar for the above.

ps Like the sound of your magnificent PM, formid def.

How old is he, and when might you consider selling?

Oooh, I lied - just brilliant I'm afraid - he'll get about four weeks passing training per season as well. Only poor XP at the moment and not starting first team games until next season + early round cups.

Santiago Uribe (148485832)
22 years and 24 days, solid form, healthy

Stamina: solid Goalkeeping: disastrous
Playmaking: brilliant Passing: passable
Winger: wretched Defending: formidable
Scoring: wretched Set Pieces: poor

I reckon I'll be looking at three full seasons out of him unless wages spiral up too much. I now have 3 defensive trainees with decent PM and/or passing. I usually CA my reserve games but haven't got beyond brilliant for this yet, plenty of time :D

Thx for PM tip for wingers - I'm still playing two so only two IMs - I have considered 1Wing and 3PM but it hasn't been an issue up to now - again something to consider next season if it doesn't go to plan.

His wages will never spiral, he'll never reach those primary levels. Combo of sklls don't affect wages, only high singular primaries. They rocket after supernatural.

Woohoo - three seasons will be about right though - 26yo to maximise revenue for reinvestment

Great day for me, three of my youths increased their star count so my defence now reads:

6.5* 7* 7* 8* 6*

All under 17, all with potential plus a 7* keeper. My last match generated ratings of:

Right Defence supernatural (very low)
Central Defence mythical (high)
Left Defence brilliant (low)

:)

6-0 win keeps me 4 points clear. Reasonably tough game next week but a win should secure the title for me. Five wins from six will see auto promotion though my team needs to average around 20 more hatstats and a couple more stars to see me through to 5th or 6th

Final new signing arrives. Hopefully this should bring me the extra little PM boost I need to cope in III. Might have to put up with the odd red card and will have to make do without him for a couple of weeks but after a 4-1 away win on Sunday we're now 10 points clear so don't have too much to worry about.

Godefroy Molinari (114488952)
24 years and 106 days, passable form, injured (4 weeks)
A nasty fellow who is fiery and dishonest.
Has passable experience and poor leadership abilities.

Next birthday: 19/08/2008
Nationality: France
Total Skill Index (TSI): 32 660
Wage: 13 082 £/week including 20% Bonus
Owner: ShrimperZone FC

Stamina: solid Goalkeeping: disastrous
Playmaking: formidable Passing: passable
Winger: poor Defending: supernatural
Scoring: weak Set Pieces: poor

a 1-1 away draw keeps me 4pts clear and all but guarantees me the title. Now it is all about whether I autopromote or not. I may draw one more game leaving me on 36 for the season. Don't know whether this is usually enough from V.

I'm looking fairly comfortable!

1. ShrimperZone FC 9 9 0 0 33 - 4 29 27
2. C.Gulls 9 4 3 2 24 - 8 16 15
3. **Red Devils** 9 4 2 3 22 - 18 4 14
4. Ocean Colour 9 4 1 4 20 - 16 4 13
5. Dutty Dawgs 9 4 1 4 24 - 25 -1 13

12 clear with 5 games left and one of them is against a bot!

A walkover win as one of the teams called it a day the other week.

I'm in 2nd, 5 points off the lead and 3 points off 3rd place, but only 1 point separates 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Nice !

What's your thoughts for next season ?

Well I'm averaging 300 hatstats this season which would put me near the top of Level III rankings. My only worry is that I may get outmuscled in midfield but hoping my new defender will assist that. I reckon I should have enough to stay up and maybe even challenge for promotion.

Roll on next season....

You should be competitive enough in your home games, it is then just a case of trying to get something out of your away games when you lose midfield.

I also think you've got a good chance of getting at least one team in your league give/sell up. A lot of teams are either unsustainable without the trainees to sell to reinvest in younger players (something I'm going to struggle a little with since committing to training Rosewell for England) or realise that they don't have the wherewithal to go any higher in hattrick and start to give up as they feel they've reached a glass ceiling.

A slightly interesting end to my match today!

1 - 1 Renat Alpeev (80)
1 - 2 Robbie Bucknall (84)
1 - 3 Divasapati Porsezhian (85)
2 - 3 Renat Alpeev (89)
2 - 4 Jamie Morris (90)

Yellow - Alan Mackay (82)
Red - Alan Mackay (84)
Yellow - Andrés Eloy Fernández (87)
Injury - Serge Rosenmöller (88)

That win means we are promoted and rounds off a rather exciting online gaming weekend! One run win in BT, 2 point win in BR with alast minute try and now this one.

A disaster for me with a shock 1-0 home defeat. Still a point clear but auto promotion has now gone out of the window. Will have to Mots next week and with two first teAmers suspended I could end up blowing a seasons hard work.

Looks like I have contrived to blow a certain title in the last two weeks. After a shock home defeat last week I'm currently 2-1 down with 10 to play and a draw won't be good enough. Bugger ! - Oh well another season of div V it is. I'll be honest HT is rapidly losing its appeal as far as I'm concerned. BT is a far better, far more interactive game.

Ooooooooooh - how strange life is - If things stay as they are I will be 1 point clear with 2 to play and one of those is a shoe in against a bot so if I win next week I am top and in a play off for promotion.

Team currently top have blown it big time and with 10 men are 4-0 down. I am 1-0 up at home to second, just need to hold it there or increase the lead would be nice. There's been one miss and goal in my game and that's it so far.

That's the way it stayed and with my last two games vs 7/8 I really shouldn't fail to secure a play-off

Lost 2-1 to a last minute penalty, away at the leaders.

Considering I was without my ET GK (my reserve is a passable!) and my two best IMs were in poor and inadequate form, I thought I had pulled off a managerial masterstroke in keeping it 1-1. Gutted.
