New hattrick season

Players all around the 30 mark, do not know my hatstats as removed Foxtrick from my browser. In some ways I do regret not having the time to do both hattrick and battrick.

Sadly I would have had my team 5 years come 23 July but hey after getting to III and I really could not see myself progressing without spending a lot of time on it.

Am a little nervous about my cup team tonight as I've maximised my training so have ended up playing 5-4-1 with no formation experience and virtually my entire team is playing out of position.

Fortunately I've just gone 2-0 up so I should be OK.

Safe 8-0 win and importantly no injuries. My reserve striker popped early to solid XP with passable leadership so now got to decide whether to move him to coach. My current one is only poor leadership so it has to be worth it, particularly as I'll really need to manage TS if I'm going to get to and stay in III.

Sod it, I'm going to do it.

Next round looks nice and easy. My other two future coaches should pop to passable/solid soon. Would like to hang on and use them but no guarantee either will get to solid in time as neither are first team players.

A comfortable 2-0 win for me and a winnable next round too - I may throw it - with TS at exaggerated I can't afford overconfidence for the next two league games following this Sunday's toughie

Drew 1-1away to stay top against my toughest rival who has already dropped 2 pts elsewhere. I crippled 3 of his players in the process but unfortunately all only +1s.

Destiny in my own hands - realistically I should go on and win from here Barring catastrphic injuries and I have decent reserves in all positions. HT always bites your bum somewhere along the way.

Have PiC'd tomorrow's cup match. Though a win would be nice I don't especially need the money but I can do with the confidence hit.

3-0 away win despite losing midfield in the first half. Team is about as well rounded as it's ever been, ratings ranging from solid (high) to formidable (high). Easy cup game tomorrow and a bot next week so should be a productive week.

Got my new coach but still leaves £2m in the bank. Will save that now and see how much I need to strengthen should I go up to III.

Had a cracking 6-1 home victory, to keep my 100% record in III intact. However I lost my keeper (again) to a 3 week injury.

Despite that I set a new hatstats pb with 323, which is apparently the 12th best in England this week!

I am going down faster than Col Ewe.... another home reverse, 4-1, 3 defeats on the bounce, and lost my best defender for 5 weeks.

Bugger - got through the Cup on a PiC - not part of the gameplan but I'll surely be at home next round and won't knock the money having just expanded the stadium by another 6K to 56K.

I had a shocker and was knocked out to a team three divisions below me. I played my reserves and PIC, but it should have been enough to win. I had better hatstats and beat him in every rating, yet lost 5-4 in extra time.

5-1 away win on a PIC and no injuries. Should get through next round as well.

Fans have me down as "we have the edge" for next round - they've been dancing in the streets for as long as fan mood has been posted. I'll soon wipe the smiles off their faces. Sunday week's league game is a definite confidence event possibility so team attitude hit, a nice to have this week, is necessary next week.

Strangely enough I appear to have drawn Shrimpers Army in the cup.

Incidentally the fans expectations clearly still needs plenty of work to add realism. It is more accurate than not but when wrong it is wildly wrong.

A comfortable 2-0 win keeps me top by 1 point. Playing second place in a couple of weeks time. Confidence is down to slightly exaggerated and away to 7th place next week. PiCing tomorrow's cup match should see me lose though my line up isn't overly weak. Strongest rival edged a 4-3 win to keep in touch in 3rd so I can't afford to drop any points.

I've broken my transfer record with a £4.3m goalkeeper. Think I might have overpaid as he is only ET gk with inadequate SPs, but he is English and at only 23 yo will be my GK for the next 10 seasons. He'll get a bit of defence training and with solid leadership will eventually become a coach.

On Sunday I won 6-0 against the other undefeated team in the division

5-1 defeat in the cup - daiappointing 40k weather affected crowd and the end of a beautiful 19 match streak including 16 straight wins.

no injuries, no suspensions and TS and confidence now right where I want them. A good night's work

I squeezed through 2-1 after not realising my opponents were actually pretty useful. Easy league game this week so can switch the line ups round and play the firsts in the cup so should progress further.

4-2 away win on Sunday against a team with an NT winger with 400k TSI. All looking good this season (apart from my titanic striker who is now in wretched form).

3-0 away win despite a man sent off half way through first half. At home to second place next week where a win would see me open up a nice gap. Fortunately the suspension isn't an issue so a full strength line up on a MoTS should be enough. Comfortably top on both Hatstats and stars and oppo has a mythical up for sale but only two to three dangermen in the whole squad while I have a nicely rounded team in all positions.

Averaging around 230 but hoping to break record 246 next Sunday and should be a new record gate after ground expansion -anything above 50K is a record.

My 100% league record ended with a 4-1 away defeat in yet another top of the table clash.

I was pleasantly surprised, especially as it was a normal. My new coach is helping maintain TS. With a 5 point lead in the division I can now think about MOTSing a few cup matches and trying to beat last seasons record of Round 8.
