Films you've watched recently.

I wasn't even aware it had gone down. What has it gone down from? And since when?

Could the film have been re-issued / released on a streaming platform recently to a new, less appreciative audience?

When I used to look at IMdb All I read were pages of rave user reviews----It has changed a lot now.

I keep meaning to watch this. Are you familiar with Yorgos Lanthimos' films (The Lobster, The Favourite and The Killing of a Sacred Deer being his other most well-known)? Just wondering because I can imagine he's quite a Marmite filmmaker and might take the uninitiated by surprise a bit.

The Lobster... that was on my watch list for a while actually but forgotten about it. Not heard of the others I don't think though.

Well this was a real treat---It starred Tor Johnson (he appeared in a number of Ed Wood films)----This film is so bad that it is fantastic.

Ms Baldy and I caught part of "King Kong" (2005) and we were very impressed.
The 1933 original was one hour 40 minutes.--This version is just over three hours.
Brilliant remake once it gets going, but the very long build-up makes rewatching a chore, unless you skip through.
