Another use of my Odeon limitless this afternoon for ‘The Amateur’.

An entertaining film with some action and storyline twists so a solid 8 from me.

Superb. The Clash watched it too.

No it takes off when Marlon apears and becomes the classic of modern cinema that it always rhreatned to be.AS WB Yeats said:-"Tread softly for you tread on my grave."

Amazing film. My favourite part is when Dennis Hopper realises the Swift boat crew have cigarettes.

Saw Costa-Gavars' excellent Last breath yeserday with Mrs Tangled at the Balmes. A deeply moving end of life film.Long been a fan of CG's political work in the cinema including Z & Missing .At 92 this is probably his last film and a good way to go out ,IMO.

Insidious- The Red Door. Hackneyed nonsense.

Jules - an alien crashes into a pensioner’s garden. Sounds weird but actually a great film
