Saw Back to Black again on DVD * last night.THis is a really excellent biopic IMO.

*Now I'm no Xenophobe but I was rather suprised that the DVD was German, given that Sam Taylor-Johnson's film is English (or ar least British as far as i know) .I'm quite capable of ensuring that the language/subtitles /extras etc are set up in English but I have to ask if the British film industry is incapable in this post -Brexit era of producing a British version of the DVD for European /world distribution? Given that the film was only released in Europe in May (we saw it in Brazil then) perhaps someone who buys or sees it in the shops nearer Xmas will let me know if a home grown version is available?

Thanks. But I notice that Amazon.es (where I normally buy DVDs is still advertising the German version .It matters to me since I'll probably get the DVD for our younger daughter's birthday in Dec .(since she took us to see the film).(Can always get the film from Amazon .UK if I want).

Watched a man called Otto on Sky movies last night.

Although a little dark in places with a suicidal theme ultimately I really enjoyed Tom Hanks betrayal of this complexed character with it’s moments of humour I found it an enjoyable watch.
