England vs Pakistan Test Series

anyone else see that we were 5-0 and then did a check just to make sure pakistan hadn't already batted?!:D

Cook given caught behind but he hit his pad not the ball and is reprieved on appeal

Unlike Billy Bowden to make such a mistake but all resolved eventually

Cook gone early doors for 10.....39/2

KP just gone for a golden also

39/3.....Was about to say "all they need to do is occupy the crease til the clouds clear"

Guess the batsmen didnt think so!

Game over, chaps......

Next few days are likely to be "batting days" which will benefit Pakistan allowing them to put together a huge total.

We can only pray for rain now

Some brilliant bowling this morning. As I type Prior just received a ball directed on leg stump that fizzed past the off-stump and outside edge. It's swinging a lot, and we're getting bowled out, not getting ourselves out. Except KP, who played a rubbish shot to a wide ball that did nothing.

We're England. We're headstrong numpties who like to try the same tricks over and over again until someone has the common sense to work out that it's not working. Of course we haven't learnt from the last Test.

What were the lessons we should have learnt from the last test?

Any team in the world would be getting bowled out this morning. Rubbish weather for about a fortnight, overcast day. Conditions are a bowler's paradise.

I dunno, my brother's the teacher, do I look like Einstien to you?

I would, however, argue that learning to bat beyond twenty balls would be a progressive move.
