Brexit negotiations thread

I'm confident their won't be a no-deal. Sensible politicians will understand the catastrophic damage that will do to the UK. Gove, Johnson & Rees-Mogg can stamp and scream all they like but the vast majority of MPs will ignore them.
If there was a 2nd referendum, I'd vote Leave this time rather than Remain as I did last time. The reason, Leave won and despite the whinging of the Remainers that means we should leave the EU. If with No Deal then so be it

So, you should then be pushing for another referendum. It would get the decision out of the hands of what you call the Remain parliament. Your prefered option of leaving the EU without a deal would be one of the clear choices. Let's see how many people would vote for it.

What makes you think anyone would pay any attention to another referendum result when they have ignored the last one.

The vast majority of mp's are ignoring the referendum result.

Simple question. If on the referendum ballot paper of 2016 there had been two choices.

1) Remain in the EU
2) Leave the EU without a deal

what do you think the result would have been?

It's not been ignored, the two main parties accepted the result, unfortunately the party in power have spent two year arguing among themselves and managed to make leaving unworkable. I doubt that was their intention its just a result of their lack of ability.

Of course it could have been worded

1) leave
2) remain only because our politicians are to incompetent and self serving to sort a deal out, even if you do vote leave.

The sort of people who voted leave know that all the rest is nonsense. The laughable bit is remain cant sell the EU to anyone so they have resorted to "We have to stay because we cant sort out the paper work.,

I'm sure the captain of The Titanic would have loved the opportunity be notified of the upcoming iceberg so he could alter his course.

...............but Rigsby you've got a deal, what on earth are you complaining about?

Another link to HSB's daily news, I'm sure the worlds biggest bank want what's best for everyone in Britain.

You do know Gina Miller is funded by George Soros another who's only concern is the British worker. Yes she ticks some lovely PC boxes and any criticism can deemed racist or misogynistic. If you watch the Newsnight? interview where she falls apart, you will soon realise she certainly didn't write that letter

Gina listed Anna Soubry as in a list of inspiring women on twitter today. I find it very disappointing when people are willing to overlook Soubry's numerous aspects of evil just because she supports Remain. Disappointed in Gina with that.

Shouldn't you be more disappointed that Miller and her whole court case was funded by a member of the Bilderberg group.

Still old George loves stiring up trouble with his payed activists

the court case should never have been needed, makes a mockery of taking back control of our laws when the first thing you do is try to exclude Parliament. This government trashed Brexit with these underhand ways that set the scene for 2+ years of fiasco.

Yes I'm sure you would have demanded a court case if Remain had won.

How about Gina Miller do you thinks its right that one of the worlds wealthiest people can hide behind paid shrills. Shows how much the media are controlled when they don't expose it.

First point makes no sense, the court case was about making sure Parliament was involved in the process of leaving.
Miller shouldn't have had to take the government to court to demand democracy, its not a sinister thing to do, to try to prevent that level of democracy is sinister, so funding for doing the right thing I don't really mind where that funding came from.

Remember it was a one off vote, the decision will be final.
Your always so desperate to defend anything and anyone Labour/Remain you miss the bigger point.

If Aron Banks was funded by the Russians your fine with that because obviously its what the people wanted. Lets not forget the Tommy Robinson court case where the judge wouldn't allow him to see his lawyer or even enter a plea (Its a media lie that he pleaded guilty). As a man of principle I'm sure you have donated to his retrial fund, of course if you haven't you don't mind where the money comes from because as you say its for doing the right thing.

you are jumping around a bit on this - its disgraceful that there was a need for our government to be taken to court to ensure that Parliament were involved in the biggest political process in decades - disgraceful.

'Tommy' - why do you see everything through the prism of one violent football thug? Do you feel like you get some cred for dropping his name into unconnected conversations the whole time?
Apparently has recently bought a million + house in Bedfordshire - presumably from donations - does he even have a job? Is he still running tanning shops or is it just moaning on a Canadian website that is his official employment? I've always represented myself whenever I have had legal dealings, he should do the same as all of his convictions seem straight forward, the legal donations are very lucrative though.

And yes I contribute the the cost of trying him for his multiple convictions - its called PAYE

in your view, is no deal a better option over the next 20 years than remain?
