Brexit negotiations thread

Georgie boys comments....what else? Looks more like Mr Bean by the day, and has a brain to match.

Let me remind you that the UK is still undergoing the austerity cuts which Osborne started. As far is Brexit is concerned, at least Osborne -and I'm obviously no fan-counselled Cameron that remain could well lose.I'd say he had more political nous than Call me Dave-not that I'm shedding any crocodile tears.

Raab suggests that the Brexit deal "could be done " by the 21st November.I wonder what the EU will have to say about that?

I'd presume the EU would be delighted.................if it proved true. Reckon they just want to get it off their plate, they have one or two other important issues, apart from Brexit, to deal with. Will be very interested to see how they square the circle on the question of the Irish border.

This Guardian article would appear to contradict Raab's optimism, claiming that little progress has been made, especially on the Irish issue.

I suppose, at this critical stage, negotiations are being kept well under wraps. Have heard VERY little this week...............things will no doubt become much clearer (or much less clear) in the next three weeks!

Btw, I held no allegiance to Georgie-boy or big Dave or their policies when in office.....other than the referendum....

Ratcheting up the pressure? ............One week left and no progress on Ireland border problem???

Remember when planes were going to fall out of the sky because computers wouldn’t recognise the year 2000?. The Irish border will be the same. More freight goes through Felixstowe than crosses the border....Life will carry on and all those that repeated the myth will quickly forget they ever mentioned it.....

They did the same after June 2016. Emergency budgets anyone? Instead we have more people in work and the government have more tax to spend.

No problem then, there I was, worried for nothing!

Boo hoo, more grizzling from the losers.

Have you forgotten George Soros. He even funded the legal challenge using that so called business women. Until she melted on TV and everyone realised she was a fraud

Doubt whether it will change Brexit (much is the pity). However, anyone suspected of important breaches of election laws, whether it be Banks or Soros, should be brought to book. Will be interesting, if we ever find out, where the large sums of money backing the leave campaign originated from.

Ohhhh come on. Russian dodgy money has been embroiled and mixed up in British politics for at least three decades and nothing will change.

Wakey wakey people.
