@ForeverBlue Interested on your take of the latest situation ?
My take is,
Ron will agree to the deal with the council, which will then stop the pressure from both the consortium and fans.
He’ll let the consortium clear the WUP and let them carry on funding the club whilst promising them everything will be fine.

Whatever he agrees to and signs won’t be worth anything, he will not honour any of it!

It won’t be lost on him unfortunately that the deal he has with COSU is that if deal doesn’t materialise then he is only liable to pay back 50% of their outlay in this limbo period. In effect it’s like living half price as long as this situation carries on. Obviously that’s even assuming the consortium were even lucky enough to get back that 50%!!!
COSU are operating at massive risk at this moment in time

Who remembers last week all the usual wallies blustering on around the had heard good news yap yap yap … ffs 🤦‍♂️
Your a cheery soul arent you..

One minute its good news the next its bad news, its been like that for a year now. You dont know whats gonna happen as much as the next man so i dont get what you or anyone else is hoping to achieve with posts like this, the big "i told you so" at the end? Whats the point.

This team is definitely capable of getting play offs then promotion via the play offs. If that were to happen, you can bet your top dollar that the revenue for the city will increase massively. Going back into league 2, a lot of clubs would bring a lot of numbers especially the likes of Gillingham for example (if they are still in league 2 by the time we go up).
There are currently only 4 clubs in league 2, within 100 miles of us. Colchester, Gillingham, Wimbledon & Bromley!.

We’re all very sceptical of the Martin’s and rightly so but this is seemingly based on opinion, albeit also based on past experience. Wouldn’t this set the Martin’s up to be sued by COSU and also the council, if so?

It’s not an opinion.

Do you really think Ron cares about being sued? COSU will just be added to a very long list of other creditors he has knocked for money.
