Been up to Norwich University of Art today as it is my daughters favored choice for the diploma course she is aiming for. After a sneaky look over the odd shoulder I will be furious to the point of burning buildings to the ground if she doesn't get accepted. I couldn't draw a straight line with a ruler but I'd fancy my own chances over some of the stuff I saw.

Passed a random game the other day so stopped to watch as you do.

It was some old blokes game. The winger did this amazing piece of work to beat his man, drew the keeper out and laid it on a plate all along the ground for this goal hanger who had an open goal to equaliser and he smacked it against the crossbar from the edge of the 6 yard box.

We were over on Canvey this morning and on the way back via Benfleet I felt morally obliged to honk my horn loudly as we passed Ronnie Manor. On the way up Essex way there was a Nissan SUV that was very close to the rear of my car the whole way up, but as we passed Ronnie's gaff and the loud hoots, the Nissan dropped back 3 cars lengths. Smug mode ensued.

Saw a London Taxi on the M11 yesterday going past North Weald Southbound with a Southend United sticker in the window.

Put a real smile on my face, had nothing SUFC on me to give him a thumbs up.

And now my daughter has just passed her driving theory test. This is turning in to a very good day.

Got some insurance quote for myself and 17 year old daughter on a provisional licence for a Fiesta ST line and the cheapest came in at just over a grand.

Added my wife as a named driver and it dropped to £738.
