Question What is making you happy today?

New 2 year broadband deal with Vodafone (old one expired a couple of months ago). Doubled my download speed with landline and mobile calls thrown in for 10 quid a month less that I was paying.
What is this landline you mention?

Ho ho. The landline is still worth having as the sound quality on speaker is 100% better than a mobile. V useful when speaking to doctors (it's an age thing).

Went and saw Becoming Led Zeppelin today. Unbelievable. I saw them first the week after my 16th birthday at the Albert Hall in the Gods. Cost 5 shillings. June 29th 1969. My life was never the same afterwards. I remember thinking at the time that Jimmy Page’s guitar was like a machine gun. For fans or people who just didn’t get it or still don’t it’s a must see. It tells the story of the first 2 albums and how they got together. Completely compelling. Includes Shirley Bassey amongst others.

My eldest son is refereeing his first "proper" match on Saturday. He's refereed two school matches, but this will be his first with parents watching etc. It's actually an U12 girls match. The admin guy who allocated the match has said the home manager is a really nice guy and will look after him.

He should know about it by now as the Centre Circle app has notified me, so it must have notified him too.

Annoyingly, the game has been cancelled and given as a home walkover. I'm guessing the opposition couldn't get a team together. Never mind.
