Question What is making you happy today?

By this stage in your prep you need to be topping that up with at least 10 miles tomorrow.
And remember that your VLM time will in all probability be at least 10-15 minutes slower than on an uncongested run/race course. Get those knees up Forestt!

Thanks, I've been following an Asics running plan for a sub 4 hour marathon and the way it's progressing I think I will easily smash that. My PB for a half is 1hr 33 so I can't see too many issues. I've got a 14 miler coming up next week it's a very good programme and would advise anyone thinking of running a marathon to follow on of their programmes.

Happy for 3 reasons...

Another Win for the Blues,
Hilarious result for Bradford,
I have a pass out from the wife tonight, old school night at SAKS

Handing in my notice this morning. Not exactly 'happy' as I've enjoyed it here, but a decent opportunity on a bit more money.

Oh, and my U10s continuing their winning run.

Shocking.

It's not about winning at that level:cricko:

You ought to see the state some of the parents get themselves into. The kids are largely untroubled if they win or lose, but I've seen some of the parents get themselves uncontrollably worked up on the touchline. I've also had my fair share of late Sunday evening tactical briefings...

Kids football is brilliant but would be so much better without the parents.

Haven't seen parents get too involved, but the coaches are the ones that get worked up. Problem is those coaches who have done level 1 and think they then know it all. IMO for those doing anything under 12 year olds, the 1st Youth Module should be compulsory and will be a big eye opener.

A look at the League One League Table that shows both Col Ewe and Borient in the bottom four.

In itself, those two being there is only a happy event if:

(a) Both are eventually relegated and we don't get out of Div 2.

(b) Both avoid relegation and we get promoted.

I just can't imagine life in Div 1 without derbies against those inbreds:smile:

I have aftee today's run managed over 100 miles this month, Marathon training is well and truly underway.

Kids staying at their grandparents, early dinner booked for my wife and I at a nice Spanish restaurant, followed by night at the theatre. Excellent.
