An 8 mile evening run along the seafront in the ****ing rain - nothing like it to make you feel alive, apart from mile 8 (back up the hill to the London Road) which made me feel dead.

In my 40 odd years of running, have always preferred 'pounding the roads' when it's raining!. I'll be out in the morning for one, looks promising for a soaking!.

I certainly prefer running on an evening like this to those crazy hot nights we had in the summer. I just got a proper soaking - I've stepped out of the shower dryer than when I got home just now!
