Question What is making you happy today?

At HK airport after several beers and more; now on second red vino before jumping on a flight to Sydney. I'm going to sleep like a baby. And it's my first trip to Oz, not just in the 4-1/2 years I've been here but ever!

McGyvered up an emergency gasket for the water pump on a narrow boat engine today...

Beat that Richard Dean Anderson.

Don't forget to mention our Olympic gold medals in Rowing and Cycling. I'm sure that will go down well with the Colonials.

Had a really enjoyable evening at Latinos in Hadleigh last night, lovely tapas and several glasses of rioja. Heartily recommend it if you've not been.

Went out on the mountain bike tonight and burned a couple of guys on road bikes. At the traffic lights they seemed impressed.

The chap who in his rush to push past me alighting from the DLR didn't notice that someone had parked a leopard on the platform and walked straight through a pile of vomit.

Off to Sheffield in a couple of hours, staying over. Love an away day with my hubby, we don't get to do as many as we'd like because of his job.

Camber sands with the dog on Sunday - lovely evening, and the dog got her first taste of the beach and the sea. I think since having her we've all lost weight!
