I've never understood the need to have reporters flown out to such places when they have local correspondents out there already. What a waste of money it is. And while on the subject, why report from outside when the studio is perfectly adequate in conjunction with film footage.

Agree. To have someone standing on a busy street corner competing with the roar of the traffic doesn't make sense but its all about the visuals now not the content.

If not a newish car it’s well worth looking at a vehicle’s MOT history online, often find there are past horrors a seller conveniently chooses not to reveal.

I had an online seller once send me lots of pictures of the outside of the car I was interested in but deliberately obscured/disfigured the number plate. Needless to say I moved on.

Drove from Westcliff to Chelmsford at 6.45 this morning to drop the car off for it's annual service. Why do some prats insist on driving at 90 mph on the A130 with wind speeds of 50+mph and no street lights?

Around Southend they are a nightmare. A few times I've turned into one way streets like North, Central and South Avenues at night, to have one coming at speed straight at me the wrong way down that street. And yes, they all seem to wear black or very dark clothing. Some of the high performance black ones can do over 30mph. Some of them must be doing drug runs as well.

Five days of this flu, never felt so shattered/ aching
Thought it was Benfleet 15 run , but now wondering if it was lurking and the run brought it on quicker , never slept so much hopefully on the way out

Since the 18th December I picked up this flu bug going around, it’s now the 27th Jan and I still haven’t felt 100% since. I’ve got another cold, cough has got worse. Just want to feel normal again

I’m know the feeling walked the dog for 30 minutes today thought I was on the mend , but was like a marathon
Just glad I had the flu jab, not a cure/ prevention but hopefully stopped the worse

It’s awful isn’t it! Never experienced anything like it. I never get ill which is the most frustrating thing for me.

My wife has been struggling for about a month now too.
