Returned home from fantastic holiday in Florida, to find 2 letters on the doormat. 1st one hey ho, 'other half' won £250 in Oct's Premium Bond draw. 2nd one back to earth big time, as the Flat in the block we've lived in & rented for the last 26 years ( there were good reasons for this ), are all being sold by the landlords, who have owned them since being built in 69!.
Not going to happen overnight, but honestly thought we'd both be here until we were taken out in our coffins!. Lot's of questions fired at landlord's managing agent ( Hair & co ), hopefully get some answers next week?. Happy dreams!.

As someone who watches all of our games ,home & away on Livestream TV I was more than a tad annoyed that I couldn't even listen to the BBBC Essex coverage of our home FACup tie with Charlton on Sat. without a VPN .At least I'll know what to do in future! Hope KM & Co enjoy the coverage of the game from that camera on top of the West stand! It certainly looked a good FACup tie from the Beeb's highlights yesterday! :Angry:

When you finish the order is when it applies the cost of shipping. I looked at purchasing a home top for £50 and they want £36 postage to Australia. Going to have to hit up my cousin when he’s over there at Christmas.

It would have cost a whopping 20 quid to Europe.(Needless to say I'd aready accepted their frankly exorbitant P&P charge when I was infored about the "NO. international orders" biz,Frankly the COSU must be doing fairly well if they can refuse (a couple of) lucrative International orders.

People getting on bus's & using their phones to pay the £2 fare. Prime example today on the No. 1 from Leigh to Rayleigh, bloke gets on in Hadleigh and spends at least 5 mins sorting it out. FFS just pay with a £2 coin, it's not like you've got to have a fortune in your pocket?.
Imagine a cashless society when these problems would escalate big time, & it would be pointless having a bus timetable, as they'd all be running long overdue?.
