A disgrace I tell yer. Sugar Puffs had been around since we were kids. I had this conversation a while back and someone said that M&S do a version and call them 'Wholegrain Spelt Puffs.' Not sure if they're any good.I'm normally a Crunchy Nut Cornflakes sort of bloke, but I really fancied some Sugarpuffs for a change. Turns out they've been dumbed down and rebranded as Honey Monster Puffs, which are lightweight in the extreme now and just not the same. What is the cereal world coming to??

Agree, the cereal industry has been in decline for years.I gave up on bought cereals years ago. I make my own granola.
My main issue was that I used to have Alpen, but Tescos, Sainsbury's etc stopped doing the big bags and I ended up buying about 3 or 4 small boxes each week. So I found a recipe for granola on the internet, modified it slightly (I hate dried coconut), and haven't looked back!Agree, the cereal industry has been in decline for years.
My main issue is that I'm as lazy as Hell when it comes to creating cereals. So, on that note, how do you fancy having a go at this and then letting me and @THE SEVENTIES NORTH BANK know the outcome? We'd be very grateful if they're any good.My main issue was that I used to have Alpen, but Tescos, Sainsbury's etc stopped doing the big bags and I ended up buying about 3 or 4 small boxes each week. Do you know, I might actually give that a try if my kids want. I personally wouldn't eat that at all.My main issue is that I'm as lazy as Hell when it comes to creating cereals. At least you can see what you're doing now. Glad you are on the mend. After having a cataract successfully removed on Tuesday, needing to have 3 lots of different eye drops 4 times a day for 28 days.
Specsavers referred me to Chelmsford private eye clinic on the NHS system, with the first visit for examination to the second visit for the actual operation was about 3 months, maybe that’s an option. The waiting time for a cataract operation on the NHS is now 4-5 months so I'm using my private medical cover to fund my eyes which only cuts in if there is a long delay on the NHS. To have cataracts removed privately now costs approx. £3.5k* an eye if self funding. The world is going mad!
*Southend Private Hospital literature.

I had my left eye done at Ramsey Springfield Hospital last week. I'd far rather have used the NHS, but given the wait the private route was much quicker and easier. My Opticians referred me to Southend Private Hospital on the NHS but my Medical Insurance firm didn't have them on their list of approved sites.Specsavers referred me to Chelmsford private eye clinic on the NHS system, with the first visit for examination to the second visit for the actual operation was about 3 months, maybe that’s an option.

How was it??After having a cataract successfully removed on Tuesday, needing to have 3 lots of different eye drops 4 times a day for 28 days.
My procedure took about 25 minutes as the cataract was very advanced (I couldn't read any eye chart with my left eye). 3 lots of drops spaced out before the op, one of which was a local anaesthetic, and then more stuff put in at the time of the op. Right eye covered and it's really weird that you're eye is being operated on whilst you're conscious, but no pain at all, just a bit of pressure at times. The eye was a bit tender after the op, but you wear a plastic shield for a few hours.............and then the drops start, again, not painful, just a pain in the arse, but clear vision again in one eye was brilliant. Good luck for next year. How was it??
Easy ?
Horrid?
Have mine being done next year and I can’t wait to be able to see again(I hope).
