Wife just messaged me a picture of her rear passenger side door all caved in. Scrapped it alongside a wall on a turning that was very tight Yep i know, not even parked between the lines in the car park as well. Looks like she isn't having the best of days

Not on Facebook. I've located one in Norwich on ebay that someone is breaking but would prefer one a tad closer. Will get the wife to look later on today.

Might even get her to fit the door under supervision by myself just to cheer myself up

Was jubilant on Sunday morning to awake and see that the eyesore of a caravan has now gone from my neighbours drive. To put it in some context the caravan in question arrived in 2019 missing the front window, but to protect it from the rain it was covered by a blue tarpaulin until somtime in 2020 when a storm ripped it from the caravan. Since then it has sat there looking more and more neglected.

Today I drive to Langdon Hills and just past the turning for Horndon on the hill what do i spy, but the same said caravan, clearly dumped at the side of the road.

If i had a towbar i'd hitch it up and dump it right back on my neighbours drive. I think a little call to the council will be in order instead, although very much doubt they will enforce the dumping and will probably just clear it away and add the cost onto council tax bills

I have seen a few dumped caravans recently and I assumed those responsible were from a section of the community know for their use of caravans.

Perhaps I shouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions

What's really hacking me off today is only having the choice between right or far right candidates in the Southend West by-election. I'll be spoiling my ballot paper.

The convention is, of course, that serious political parties (eg Labour +the Lib/Dems don't put up a candidate in these sort of circumstances.As someone who used to vote in Southend West I feel your pain however.

I think your wife may be related to mine. A little scrape is exactly how she would have described the damage!
